Our Unique Educational Approach
At Smiling Bees Day School, we combine the best of the Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and play-based philosophies to create a nurturing, child-centered environment where learning comes naturally.
Our programs support each child’s curiosity, independence, and creativity through hands-on activities, peer interactions, and exploration. Children engage in a balance of structured and free play, both individually and in groups, with opportunities to grow in language, literacy, science, math, art, and motor skills.
We also incorporate an emergent curriculum, which follows children’s interests and encourages problem-solving, critical thinking, and active engagement.
We provide curriculum-based lesson plans, outdoor play, creative exploration, and more—focusing on emotional, social, and academic development. Free healthy meals and a Montessori-style approach included.

Note: We are open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Children enrolled in the preschool program may be dropped off as early as 7:00 AM and picked up after 6:00 PM. A before-school or after-school fee will apply.
