Hi Parent(s)/Guardian(s), my name is Paulina Thuy Le, and I am the owner of Smiling Bees Day School, a licensed in-home childcare and preschool located in Tracy, CA. With many years of experience in child development and a deep passion for working with young children, I am thrilled to open my own in-home childcare program. I look forward to supporting local families and helping your little ones learn and grow.
At Smiling Bees Day School, we are committed to providing a nurturing, safe, and enriching environment where children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We value each child's unique needs and foster their development through creative, engaging, and effective learning approaches. Our mission extends beyond academics—we strive to support holistic growth in physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development, empowering every child to reach their full potential.
My husband and I are proud parents of two wonderful children. Our son graduated from UC San Diego in the summer of 2024, and our daughter is currently a junior at UC Berkeley. Our family moved from San Jose to Tracy in 2012. Our children attended South/West Park Elementary School, Williams Middle School, and Kimball High School in Tracy before transferring to college. As a parent myself, I understand how important and challenging it can be to find a place that nurtures and supports the whole child during their most formative years. Smiling Bees Day School is a welcoming, home-like environment where young children can feel happy, safe, play freely, and develop in every area.
I am excited to welcome your child to our childcare and preschool programs!

Science and Bugs
In the spring theme, we can introduce preschool children to different kinds of bugs such as caterpillars, crickets, bees, ladybugs, butterflies, and more. We can also read engaging books about bugs, such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar and other fun "bug-themed" stories to support their learning.
Math and Fruits
We introduce children to different types of fruits and their colors. Through hands-on activities, they explore various fruits, practice color recognition, and develop early math skills by matching and counting.
Sensory and Rainbow Fish
Children develop their fine motor skills by grasping small colored pieces to decorate a rainbow fish. They also use rollers and cutters to shape clay into fish forms, enhancing both creativity and sensory exploration
Science and Math
Children learn to recognize opposites such as fast/slow, over/under, and big/small by building with blocks, comparing the sizes of toy cars, animals, windows, and more. They also engage with books related to these concepts to reinforce their understanding.
Farm Animals
Children are introduced to farm animals and explore how they live and interact on a farm. This activity also helps develop their motor skills and creativity as they assemble farm fences, animals, trees, and other elements on their own.
Math and Science – Nature: Sea
In this activity, children explore sea shells and learn about how they are formed and where they live through engaging books. They also practice early math skills by matching and sorting shells by size, shape, and color.
