Children build early foundations in language, math, science, art, and social-emotional development through hands-on activities, storytelling, music, sensory play, and outdoor exploration.
Our daily routine includes circle time, guided lessons, creative centers, and time for free play.
Our After-School Enrichment & Homework Support Program focuses on:
Free play is a vital part of early childhood development. During this unstructured time, children are free to choose their own activities, materials, and play partners based on their interests. Whether they are building with blocks, engaging in pretend play, exploring art supplies, or simply playing outdoors, free play encourages creativity, independence, and critical thinking. It also helps children develop important social-emotional skills such as cooperation, communication, and problem-solving. At Smiling Bees Day School, we value and protect time for child-led exploration, believing that some of the most meaningful learning happens when children are free to follow their curiosity.
